After all, the more traffic your website has, the better the chance that people will use (or buy) your product or services. It goes back to the whole analogy of throwing spaghetti onto the wall: the more you throw, the better odds that some of it will stick!

I am talking about writing articles. It is easy to do too. You just write informative but not overly sales like articles about your product or service. Then you place a link within the article back to your website. Finally you submit the article to other websites. There are a host of free article websites out there which accept all kinds of subjects.
And not only can you drive specific traffic to your website by doing this, but there is another benefit too. You increase the number of links coming back to your website when your articles get posted. This in turn raises your page ranking because the web browsers find your site easier.
